I'm Megan Washam - former collegiate softball All-American turned Muay Thai fighter. I currently live in San Francisco and train out of Woodenman Gym; though I'm very proud of my Texas roots, and spent my foundational first year of training at Saekson's Muay Thai just outside of Dallas.
After graduating college and wrapping up my softball career, I was searching for a new competitive outlet that would also keep me healthy and active. In 2019, while volunteering with a local organization, I was hit by a person experiencing drug induced hallucinations. This scary experience inspired me to tae my first boxing class, with the hopes of learning some basic self defense... Little did I know, this seemingly negative event would lead me to a new and very unexpected passion in life!
2022 has been all about getting more ring time and fighting consistently - I've moved my record to 7-0 (1 KO), became the USMTO 119lbs tournament champion and the Legends Promotion 122lbs champion, and have 3 more fights scheduled before the year is up, including 2 additional title fights.
When I'm not training or fighting, I work full-time as a Product Marketing Manager at Google, run a women's lifestyle company called 'The And Brand,' nerd out about Neuroscience, and love experimenting with new baking recipes!
